Industrial facilities drawing from below-grade tanks typically need a vertical turbine. Smaller properties with limited mechanical room space often use vertical inline units.
One thing worth knowing: every system also includes a jockey pump, also called a pressure maintenance pump. Its job is to hold constant system pressure between demand cycles so the main pump doesn’t run unnecessarily.
