No! We have entry-level professions in both the field and the office which offer growth opportunities for anyone who is willing to dedicate themselves to learning the business. Many of our senior employees and managers have high school degrees or limited college experience.

Entry level positions start at $16 to $18 per hour, with scheduled growth plans specific to each career path which can raise your wages to as high as $25 per hour after five years of employment if you meet all the growth goals.

Paid holidays, personal time off starting at two weeks per year, an insurance plan including health, life, vision and dental as well as long-term and short-term disability coverage. There is also a voluntary 401K plan with Safe Harbor Match (after defined waiting period) with 100% matching for up to three percent of your income, and 50% matching of the fourth and fifth percent. For employees engaged in sales, project management and design, we offer a car allowance, gas card and toll road pass.

Kauffman Company was founded by the father and son team of John and Conor. While the company was in the past entirely owned by John and Conor, they generously created a program to offer employee ownership through an annual purchase of stock. This can even be done through weekly payroll deductions for those who prefer that method over a cash purchase.

Our culture is that of a growing small company. We value our employees and believe strongly in retention as a means to increase efficiency by minimizing employee turnover. We hold voluntary quarterly team-building cookouts, as well as a summer family event and a Christmas party at no cost to employees. Full financials are made available to all employees. We do not believe in secrets at Kauffman Company, we believe in the people we work with on a day-to-day basis and trust that they always have the best interests of their fellow team members at heart.
